If you had asked me back in my art school days whether I would be teaching art one day, I might have laughed. It wasn’t one of my dreams. But not long after I graduated college and moved back to Winston Salem, I had an opportunity to be an instructor in Sawtooth’s summer programs. Several years (and several kids) later, I was asked to come back and teach again. I am now three years into teaching part-time, and I have found that I genuinely love sharing with my students my delight in the process of creating art.
